Dasha and Kolja

Dasha and Kolja are street children with whom I worked at Circus Upsala in St. Petersburg, a nongovernmental social organization offering children and adolescents of social risk groups an alternative environment to the street. Out of a group of ten people Kolja and Dasha choose each other to work with and decided to record a set of questions and answers on video. The set: a summer camp, a camcorder and no adults allowed for one afternoon. This small sequence is part of a 43 minutes long documentary made by the kids of Upsala Circus called „5×2 = Dacha Upsala“.
