Pre-formance is a solo exhibition of drawings emerging in the early phases of artistic research and conception of the projects. The six drawings selected for the exhibition are derived from my radio practice and propose a series of site-specific radio sound systems and mobile radio stations.
Three drawings are points of departure for projects already realised at documenta14 in Kassel, Studio174 in Kingston, Jamaica and the 10th Berlin Biennale.
A further three form a space of imagination for the work yet to be realised.
Concerned with questions of mutual support and action, the drawings constitute an extended radio practice that explores the critical potential of radio to express and transmit solidarity in concrete terms.
